Should I buy Now or later?

Spend now or later (uncertain economic times)

There have been a number of suggestions that we should wait for better economic times.
There are two ways of looking at this. "Either gloom and doom" or "opportunity knocks".

The facts are, the stock market is up 26% from the March 9th low.
Do I wait for better times to buy a stock??
Maybe I should wait until next year when it is even higher.
Then I'll be more assured that times are good, I don't think so.
This is tantamount to "buying high and selling low",  not a very promising investment strategy.

Borrowing rates are at an all time low . Do we wait for higher rates?

The inflation rate is low, do we wait for the economy to pick up,
inflation to increase and then lock into higher prices ?

Retail sales are at an all time low.
The second largest purchase most people make is their automobile.
You can get large discounts now, some car dealers are selling at cost.
Should we wait until next year when prices are up?

I'd prefer to "Buy Low" folks.

Opportunity knocks!
